I have a 2.9 GPA as of right now junior year. My sat is 1900 Hopefully I can get a 2010 the next time I take it. I took 4 APs up until junior year and i am taking 5 next year. and i have only taken like 3 non honor or ap clases all 3 years. My school doesnt have class rank.

my extra-circulars are:
marching band (4 years) section leader junior year
Unified theater (volunteer work for special ed kids) 4 years
Chapel Hill Youth Town Council (2 years)
Student Government (3 years)
President and started my own club at school since sophomore year

Can i get into Northeastern university, NC state, Uni of Pittsburgh with my grades? and what other schools would i might be able to get into with my grades? Please help.

…No. Your GPA is a bit too low. I don’t know what schools would fit you, that’s for the College Search ad Selection Forum.

Unless you have a valid excuse for your grades all of the schools you listed are unrealistic. There are plenty of other colleges though. You should also consider to apply to schools like Pitt, but not their main campus and then transfer to the main campus after a year or two.

So there is no way I can get in? And I do have excuses. During high school my parents don’t get along and constantly fight. They are waiting until I’m 18 to divorce and also my gramps died the week of finals sophomore year

I am sorry, those things are truly sad and I feel bad, but colleges will not treat those reasons as a justification for that GPA. If finals have a high value at your school you will have a valid reason for second semester sophomore year. Parents fighting constantly does not justify three years of bad grades to colleges though. Really they are all unrealistic. Like I said before your best option is to try transferring after a year or two.
