Low GPA with Upward Trend, High SAT and or/ ACT

<p>I'm currently a Junior year in HS. My first two years of HS were terrible. I didn't apply myself at all and was caught up in the whole "I'm in High School, you can't tell me a thing" phase. Now those days has caught up to me and I'm in fear of my future. I want to attend Clemson University but I'm afraid that I've dug myself into a hole I can't recover from. Do you think I have a chance based on this : </p>

2120 - SAT
30 - ACT
3.8 GPA (current year)
INSTATE
Alumni Relation - (5 family members in the last 10 years)
Minority</p>

<p>That 2.1 GPA is going to be a problem. All you can do is apply and see.</p>

<p>Your upward trend may help, but is that 2.1 including this year? If not, then what will your new cum GPA be at the end of the year?</p>
