<p>Hey all, I'm a freshman ay pitzer college and am looking intro transferring to UCSC next year as a sophomore. I know that that many of the transfer slots are reserved for junior transfer students from california community colleges. what are my chances of getting in as a sophomore? pitzer is ranked fairly highly, #49th best liberal arts college, and is a part of the claremont colleges. hopefully, this will help my chances.</p>

<p>Transferring as a sophomore is pretty unlikely. You also have pretty low priority... It goes CCC, other UCs, other CSUs, other CA universities. Stick it out for one more year.</p>
