Hey. Out of curiousity, what's the lowest SAT score of anyone you've heard of that got into MIT?? or possibly Princeton?? I know but are extremely selective but any ideas..???

I konw they have posted online how many in each sat group applied/accepted. There were a few below 600s in crit reading and i dont remember if any in math. Mayb 1 or 2.

Heres the link
Lowest possible score would be
13 below 550 in crit reading, and 2 in math. Id assume the 2 in math could very possibly be 2 of the 13 in crit reading, but i could be wrong, which would mean lowest score was around an 1100 ont he first 2 sections (if your a 3 generation legacy, donated a library, and father is a nobel laureate).

I heard that the lowest math you can have (unless ur some special case like URM) is probably a 680. But, you HAVE to have other things to prove that you're REALLY good at math... like some intensive research or winning some huge competition to make up for the score. or else you're screwed.

If you're really good at math, then you can practice, retake, and be done with it.
