@thesonambulist Did you have significant ECs then?

Guys, I don’t like this forum. Just ****ing me off that I worked so hard and spent LITERALLY hundreds of dollars on that darn SAT

[Dartmouth College Admissions: SAT Scores, Financial Aid & More](Dartmouth College: Acceptance Rate, SAT/ACT Scores)

^To give you a general idea, most applicants will fall into these SAT ranges.

Of course, there will always be exceptions. The application process is more holistic now than ever. With around a 2100+, you are in a fairly safe range for consideration, though a 2200+ would probably be optimal. If you have special circumstances or have done something particularly unique and interesting, apply regardless of your scores (within reason) because you never know.

Guys,I was admitted at dartmouth with an overall score of 1850,though I had other attributes of being a,straight A kid with a class rank of 1/70,many EC,2400 science subject test and I’m african. My other african classmates with higher sats(2100+) were rejected. Its not about the sat ,its about you as a whole which gets you in to an IVY!

One of the kids I used to know in school went to Dartmouth on football with low 1800s. He was really good, though.

cknckn, your post seems strange for someone going to Dartmouth. And I say that in all sincerity as someone who’s knowingly coming into the game behind a lot of the other candidates for schools I’m interested in. I guess there are weird posts here like in any other forum.

Hmmm. I realize there is a great deal of informality in posting, but I do have to say, cknckn, that I hope that your 5/9/13 post is not indicative of your writing, punctuation, capitalization, etc., skills.
