<p>Hi everyone! this is my first post and I was just wondering what people have heard as the lowest SAT (or ACT) score of someone accepted to Brown (and not because they were recruited for sports)???</p>
<p>go the brown admissions website, they have a breakdown of everyone who was accepted and their SAT scores (statistically speaking of course... you're not gonna see every person who was accepted and their SAT scores)</p>
<p>if your asking cause ur insecure about your SAT scores, don't worry about them - personality through your essays and ECs and recs will weigh much more than any numbers will</p>
<p>SAT's matter dude. Most people with low(er) SAT's are athletes recruited by their respective program. I'm not saying you need a 1500, but if you dont' have over a 1300 you're in trouble</p>

Amor caelestis, I don't know why you're calling Matty naive. The facts and figures on the Brown Admisions website don't really prove either of you right. Yes, test scores matter a lot, but no, saying essays and ECs matter a whole lot is not naive.</p>
<p>ok, have someone with a 900 apply and write his essay for him and fill in his EC's with yours. see what happens.</p>

<p>and if you're applying to brown in the first place, you're scores are probably high to begin with - so what someone would consider "low" might not really factor in as much at Brown than at other places</p>
<p>and no one with a 900 SAT score would be applying to Brown in the first place unless they were already recruited by something or cured AIDS and stopped global hunger.... or posting on this board wondering about their "low" SAT scores for that matter</p>
