<p>Whining and lying are in my opinion negative influences on the board, but if you don't like your score, you shouldn't...pretend to like it, or not say anything at all. It was only on CC that I saw the really amazing students who would have unbelievable stats and sigh in wist at their 790...if they started severely whining and wouldn't stop, I'd say it's a problem. But they shouldn't stop because it would make others feel bad...the insane CCers with such scores, other accomplishments, and attitudes showed me the bar, the highest standards. If there's no point lying about your SAT scores, there's no point lying (or not telling the complete truth) about what you expect from yourself either.</p>
<p>Granted, it is a little depressing to see the college admissions profiles of some people... ;)</p>
