After researching McGill I feel completely in love with the campus. I've always dreamed of a big city school and a metropolitan city like Montreal seemed like an amazing place for me. Based off this I was crushed to learn that should I attend I would be on the MacDonald Campus (I plan on majoring in Food Science). I'm still going to visit in the spring, but I wanted to hear from people who went to the MacDonald Campus what they thought. I also was wondering what it is like living at the Downtown Campus but attending the MacDonald Campus (I know its possible but is it difficult?). Any help is appreciated.

Our neighbor’s daughter is a 3rd year in Env Sciences (Mac campus based) and she lives in Montreal downtown in a rental apartment with 3 other roommates. She commutes to Mac and says she wouldn’t have it any other way. Honestly, though, I have visited the Mac campus, and I just don’t know how it can be done if you have classes on both campuses, without a whole lot of stress (and $$).

Hi there, I am also a food science major, but I am not sure if i like or not. Have you visited yet? How do you feel? Thanks
