<p>Will a typo like "a person a person that would...." decreases my chances of transferring into UW?</p>
<p>I've read my personal statement again today and cannot believe that I did not catch this mistake after proof reading it so many times. </p>

<p>Well, there is nothing you can do now. Just relax.
It MIGHT influence your chances (after all, they explicitly tell you in instructions to proofread your essay), but if you are a strong applicant overall it certainly won’t be a reason for rejection.</p>
