Should I switch my Netflix subscription to send movies to my dorm room address (which I know goes to some central mail thing) or is the mail room not reliable enough? I could send them to my house, but I wouldn't get to watch any time other than breaks.

Mailroom @ Cornell is fine IMO. I sent my new HP Pavilion laptop order to them and picked it up no problems. The mailroom is staffed by fellow students… I think… I’d trust myself with other ppl’s mail so I trust them with handling mine lol.

Also, I’m not very familiar with how netflix works but unless you’re looking to watch movies as soon as they come out, there’s an “alternate source” for movies. PM if you’d like more info.

DC++? tenchar

yeah! great you already know. saves me a lot of typing lol.

i subscribed to netflix at cornell just fine on campus living…

the only problem is if you forget to switch your address when you go home on breaks (winter, summer) and your DVDs stay in your mailroom box and no one on staff to send them back for you :(

edit - dc++ is useless if the movie you want isnt there…last time i was on dc++ there was nothing but leechers…i used to share 2TB at one point ^_^

^ I was one of those leeches :D. Thx!

lol campuscsi, we all know what most of that 2TB was ;)
