I got my confirmation form from them, and on the top where it tells me of my major, it says "Liberal Arts and Sciences". But this is false, I remember putting Accounting and General Business on the major selection portion of the admissions application (Yes, I am sure).

What do I do about this? Does this matter at all?

this means that you did not get admitted into the business school; you are a "letters and sciences" (undecided) major. you can take lower-level business classes and transfer into the business school at a later point (your advisor will give you more details about this), or select a different major.

oh wow, i see... well, i know for sure that i wanna do a business major. but in this case, that means it'll be a while before i can get into the business school? man that stinks.

try to do well in the entrance courses and get a good gpa. A lot of people i know didn't get into the limited enrollment program because they do poorly and couldn't get a 3.0 to be admitted to the major. They had to choose a different major and those courses were wasted. So be wise. Once you're in, you're allowed to have a gpa lower than 3.0 tho.

a lot of people don't get into their limited enrollment majors at first. but it's okay, if you work decently hard, u should be able to get into the business school. but i wrote this on another post, and i'll write it again, lol -- last year, the average GPA for transfer students into the business school was a 3.7. and that might seem like its really high and unattainable but i know plenty of people who got from 3.5's to 4.0's their first semester here..so if ur invovled, and u have a pretty good gpa and you really present that on ur application, i'd say you're in :)

oh, and you have to be a junior STANDING to get in. so if u have 60 credits by sophomore year, i believe u can apply then

about what percent of people that apply to business LEP get in? can that be found anywhere?

a little of topic but once you're in what do you need to get to stay in the business school? I don't have that problem yet but just wondering

once ur in the school u just need to pass to stay in. Don't get lower than 2.0 twice or u'll be in probation.
