what do u guys think is a good major for getting into med-school? i heard that med schools seem to like majors other than in science.

You should major in which ever area you enjoy the most. If you like what you are learning then chances are you will more likely put more time into studying, which in return will give you a higher gpa and a higher chance of med school acceptance.

Yea, I read somewhere that they admit 48% non science major and 52% related major. So choose a major that you like best, show passion!

lets say i major in biology...whats the difference between a BA and BS in biology and which one would be preferable?

Although it will vary between colleges, BS degrees tend to require more courses for the major (in your case, biology), than the BA degree. The BA degree tends to provide more of a well rounded, liberal arts education.
