Major??

hi I am interested in mainly petroleum engineering as a major. However, many schools do not offer this major, and the ones that do are often expensive and in isolated locations. Therefore, could I do a major in chemical or bio molecular engineering and still become a petroleum engineer?

I don’t know a lot about the field, but I’m almost certain you could.

Are there any schools with programs for petroleum engineering you’d be interested in attending for grad school? Your best bet is to take up one (or both) or the majors you mentioned for undergrad and then do whatever you need to do to get a bachelor’s degree equivalent/master’s/whatever is needed in the field. For grad school, expense is not typically as much of an issue.

Most of these schools are not isolated. Affordable is a relative term.
