Maker Supplement - Technical vs. Creative

Hi all,

I want to send a research and maker supplement to MIT for RA.

My research is fine, but my maker supplement isn’t very technically impressive. What I take pride in is the fact that I used code to creatively solve several problems in my community, and less so in the complexity of what I have written. Is it still a good idea to share my projects in the portfolio?

Many thanks.

we evaluate maker portfolios on three separate scales: technical skill, creative ingenuity, and potential impact.

my advice is to send supplements if you like because they can only help, never hurt.

Thank you
