Yes…I would pick Manhattan College if you have the money. Its an excellent small liberal arts college (Christian Bros) in the posh Riverdale Section of the Bronx, New York. Its a very pretty, though small campus. Excellent basketball team. A very strong engineering program with a stellar reputation. A real gem of a school. The school recently selected a new President, their first secular President (not a priest or brother) who came from Fordham University where he was Dean of the Fordham College at Rose Hill (highest post under the Provost and University President). He is a very good person, a very smart man (UNC PhD).

I don’t say negative things about other schools. Not my style. All I will say is I would strongly recommend Manhattan and I would strongly prefer it to Rhode Island. Though I don’t know much about it first hand, only what sports fans say…they are in the A10 and rivals to Fordham! LOL.

At Manhattan you will get two educations in one: one academic and one social, being in the heart of New York City. Congratulations.
