@aznace yeah i see what youre saying. haha damn i should have gone with my first choice. oh dear well that means i can’t get any more wrong. ruh roh

does anyone remember any other answer choices for the shift in pop-culture q

What was the question and the other answers for the “fortuitous” one?

Another answer for the pop culture one was to explain how fantasy evolved from science fiction.

I put charm for what the girl was struck by, because the question specifically said when she FIRST met the aunt, and the passage directly stated that it was her calm and humor, both of which imply charm.

[Bound feet and Western dress - Pang-Mei Natasha Chang - Google Books](<a href=“Bound Feet & Western Dress: A Memoir - Pang-Mei Chang - Google Books”>Bound Feet & Western Dress: A Memoir - Pang-Mei Chang - Google Books)

Read the paragraph containing “Qing be be.” It is her appearance that struck her first.

Did we ever reach a consensus on the reservation v. neutrality question for the neatness passion? I put neutrality and felt like it was right at the time.

reservation is the consensus, because Author 1 wouldn’t be completely neutral to Author 2, who argues that neatness only wastes time b/c people spend so much time cleaning.

Instead, 1 would have reservations about 2’s opinion, and would say “no, neatness doesn’t take time because people spend so much time cleaning. It’s because being disorganized actually makes people take longer to do stuff.”

This was the answer that best fits the passages.

Makes sense, don’t know why I put neutrality. I guess that puts me at -2, depending on the answer to the parenthesis question in the space passage.

Did anyone ever remember the last 2 SC that weren’t mentioned on this thread?

Also does anyone remember the question/other choices for these SC:
deliberate…work
precipitate…confluence
penchant for…enmity
characterization…derisive

I know it’s a lot but if you can remember the choices for these please post

@clarinet, I’m pretty sure it was section 7, but no one is confirming lol

The space one is real, don’t worry.

I know it’s real because I had a math experimental, and still had that passage.

Anyone remember the other choices to the ones I posted? :/

At -4/-5 now. =(

I think it was the only long passage in that section. I don’t remember the order of the short passages, other than the first CR had the neatness one.

penchant/enmity

That’s 56/67. not bad. some of the other ones may be from the neatness, cuz I remember there were around 6 of those in the test, and only 2/3 discussed here.

@ Niceboat: I put down most of your answers but I haven’t had a chance to catch up on the last few pages and new developments on this thread.

I put down neutral and not skeptical for a Chaplin passage, and I don’t exactly remember the Chinese aunt question (think I answered “insist on Chinese heritage” and not “reflective about her life”). Can’t do anything about these 2 questions though… clearly wrong answers.

Which questions do you think you got wrong (its fine if you don’t want to post them), and are any questions still up for debate/ 50-50?

I think the only one that may be up for discussion still is the qualification/argue/undertaking World Series question. Besides that there’s nothing really to discuss.

I missed 2 questions : The cultural heritage (put lifestyle), and I put qualification for World Series so I’m assuming I got that wrong.
