I was contacted for an interview from an Ivy League school. It was unexpected and it seemed like my interviewer was in a hurry to have it. We had the interview over the phone immediately. The interview went well and she was impressed. Is an interview in March normal? Does this mean I may have a good chance of getting accepted? Am I just over-analyzing this situation? Thanks in advance
I would say this is neither helpful nor hurtful. They may want to try to get as many interviews as possible and were not able to match you with an interviewer until now. I suspect the rush is because they want to get the interview done before the deadline of making decisions.
Your probably right. I’m definitely over-thinking this. I was under the impression that the deadline passed because the website said interviews are usually from December to February. Thank you for your input
