March SAT: Harsh Curve?

I was going through my scores yet again, and I was wondering if the curve for the March SAT was a little harsh, because when I compared my raw scores to the 2014 practice SAT, I could have score 20-40 points higher if the SAT was scored according to the practice test, as compared to the actual thing.

Raw scores:
CR: 54
M: 37
W: 40
E: 10

Actual SAT scores:
CR: 620
M: 580
W: 650

SAT scores scored using 2014 practice test:
CR: 670
M: 600
W: 670

As you can see, the scores really differed a lot, and so my question is; are the practice SATs usually easier, and in which testing months are the curves the least harsh? This really makes me a little depressed, because I felt that I could have done so much better D:

Any input is appreciated!

I was also thoroughly disappointed in my SAT score and subscores… I’m sorry this doesn’t really answer your question but I just wanted to say that I am experiencing the same feeling (and pretty similar scores as well) so just know that you’re not the only one  When/are you planning on retaking?

yes, the curve was insanely harsh. -4 reading was only a 750…???

im retaking in june
