Should I stick with the classic marketing major? A lot of programs seem to be outdated and I want to have a lot of technology incorporated into my program. Should I double major in IT & marketing? Is it possible to make my own major? Or should I do something with digital media & design/advertising?

Most marketing jobs that offer better potential require an MBA. For undergrad, choose a major that is marketable, like IT, or a sector that you are interested in. Work a few years and then get your MBA in marketing.
If you want a “business” degree, then concentrate on economics or finance, these 2 degrees give you better job opportunities after college than just a marketing degree.

Should I chose Econ over finance if I am not that great at math?

Yes, economics is a good major for entering the business world. If you are not good in math, brush it up. MBA schools look for strength in math skills also. The better ones need to see you to have taken a college calculus course.
