Marks left on my scantron

I left some marks on my scantron and i forgot to erase them i have a tendency to mark some of my answers to remember to go back to check them and i also have some other marks on my scantron sheet they aren't very visible and there aren't a lot.

im really nervous on if collegeboard would notice or it would affect my score or anything

If they are not THAT dark, I don’t think so, but if they are… or if anythinh happens, u can ask for hand scoring for $50… Not sure if you can do that AFTER the scores are out or not though…

ooh… thats not a good sign… the scantron machines that collegeboard uses to grade tests are very accurate in their answer checking, so any signs of not adhereing to expectations may cause your score to be affected. there are thousands of kids who take collegeboard’s official tests, so your test goes through the machine and thats it - less than 10 seconds at max. sure, there is the 50 dollar fee for hand grading, but do you think collegeboard will spend that much time on your test if they can just easily say there was nothing wrong with your test? im not telling you what to do… but if that were me i would just cancel the test while i had the time

Ummm no, I wouldn’t cancel the test for sure…
If you ask for a hand-grade they WILL grade it by hand. So if you’re really worried about it, I’d go that route. Also, yes, I’m pretty sure it is (or it was anyway) possible to ask for a manual re-mark after you get your score. You might want to check up on that.

i don’t have any markings on the bubble its just on the blank space of the scantron sheet will it still affect it?

During my SAT test my scantron was covered with smudges (albeit light ones) and they didn’t seem to affect my score at all. I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
