Masters in Communication Studies/Rhetoric - Best Schools??

My daughter received her undergrad degree in Communication Studies in May from a large Midwest university. She is now working at a PR firm and plans to go to grad school in a year. Her ultimate plan is to obtain her PhD and teach at the university level.

She was an excellent undergrad student - 4.0 gpa, #1 Comms student, named one of 10 Chancellor's Scholars out of 3,500+ graduating seniors, had her honors research project selected for presentation at the undergrad research symposium, has papers published, internships every summer, etc. etc.

Does anyone know what are the top ranked graduate schools for Communication Studies, with an emphasis on rhetoric?

Your daughter needs to speak with her former professors. Rhetoric is a very broad area. Appropriate programs for her will depend heavily on her intended subfield of interest. Her former professors will help her identify the programs in which top scholars in her subfield teach. (She should have some clue already, actually, by merely knowing which scholars use research methodologies she finds congenial, and which scholars publish in her specific subfield of interest.)

Because you asked, I will provide a link to a "ranking" below, but I daresay it is relatively useless because of the factors I mentioned above.
