Math 10 Series

Hi, I'm a senior in high school attending UCSD next year. Im taking the Calc BC AP test, and if I get a 5, I can skip Math 10A,B,C. Because I am premed, I am supposed to take 1 year of calculus. I really do not like math and I don't want to take higher math. My major just requires the Math 10 series but med school does not accept AP credit. So basically I can "retake" Math 10A,B,C because I do not think I will do well in the higher math classes.

However, someone told me that if I already have a 5 on the AP test, I won't get any unit credit for it. Is this true? If so, what do you suggest I do?

Isn’t it that you only pass out if 10A and 10B? You can either take the 20 series or take the 10 series again w/o credit. Another thing you may be able to do is take 10C, 20C, and Math 11/11L (statistics) to fulfill your 1 year math requirement for med school.
