Math 1a then Math 16b

Hi, I am a spring admit who will be starting UC Berkeley this spring. I took math 1A at community college and I will most likely be getting an A but to be honest I struggled in the class a bit. And it was a pretty easy class too, I'm just terrible at math and have always hated math. So I'm wondering would it be ok to continue on to math 16b instead of math 1b because I hear that 1b is incredibly hard. I'm not mcb so I don't need the math 1A-B series.
Any advice on 16b?

Thanks :)

It depends on what you want to major in.

yes. go ahead take math 16B and have a better life (much easy to get a “A”). why bother to take math 1B if you do not plan to take further advanced classes like math 53 and 54. However, think carefully for the path toward your major.
