I just scored a 27 on the ACT. I am happy with more score but I would love to improve it. I really need help improving my math score can any one help me?

Try using Caracking the ACT...it helped me a lot with math. Also the Real ACT book is good because it gives you an explanation for each problem.

Go to that website and there should be a drop down menu on the left side of the screen. The thing to select is ACT preparation.

Within that, there are two books. One is ACT Math and Science. That book's math review is THOROUGH and TERRIFIC. It, in my opinion, can raise a score in the low/mid 20s to 30s. It is very detailed, so it won't go too fast.

I agree with hyperpuritan. Actually, I got the recommendation for that book from him/her too.

Luckily, the library system in my state had the AMSCO Math/Science book available, so I picked it up right away. I just finished it yesterday.

One of the first tests I took was the practice ACT, an actual ACT test, on the ACT website. I did no guessing for the Math, skipping any questions I didn't know, and I only received a 23 equivalent on it. Two weeks later, after finishing the AMSCO book, I retook that same math test and scored a 30. If the 'stupid' mistakes had not happened, (i'm sure you know what i'm talking about), it would have been a 33.

I highly recommend it.

I dont see a dropdown thing.

Could someone please provide a link to the book. I'm looking for it on amazon and I've yet to see it.

Thanks.
