ok im kindaconfused between the two

im in calculus this year
and im going to take the SAT math, but im deciding between the two

should i skip to 2? or take both (does that look bad?)?
thanks.

take 2. im in calculus and i took it in oct. and got a 800. just make sure you review stuff from geometry, alg 2, and precal.

I'm in calculus, and I'm taking 1. I may have taken 2, but I already signed up for 1 and I really dont have that much time to review geometry. The curve on 1 is ridiculously harsh, but its easier.

I'm pretty much absolutely sure that if you're in Calculus, you most definitely should take Math II. I took Math IIc last year in Calc AB without studying (in January) and I scored 800.... Almost everybody I know from my school in Calculus score at least 700, mostly over 750.... There are about 3 people who don't fit into this category, and the lowest scorer had a 670.

And from the way you said it, llabesab16, I'm assuming you're testing in December? Then just take IIc, it's almost absolutely worth it. I realize you don't have time to review geometry (seriously, who actually has time to review?), but most of the geometry on the test is really common sense type stuff. And Algebra? Psh, useless! I got a C in Algebra 2 (Ableit that was mostly caused by not doing homework), I didn't study it, and I still got an 800. I'm pretty sure most Calc students can score pretty well (and by that I mean 700+) without any studying...

Anyway, back to the point - jjchase24, if you're not completely confident in your math skills, I'd suggest you take both.... But I think you most definitely should take IIc (whether or not you take Ic)!
