MATH IIC: I have no LOGIC :)

Hey guys,

Three questions:

A) How many logic questions generally appear on the test? Apparently, I don't have any logic...could someone run through the ideas of logic with me?

B) How many conic questions generally appear on the test?

C) Could anyone post the first few numbers of the Math IIC scale as designated by the Real SAT II book?

Thanks

what is on this test, im signed up for it and hav no idea what im getting into

there's only like 1 "logic" question on MATH II

but they're easy! (don't follow the strategies in prep books...just think about them and practice)

conics there are like 1-2 usually..not that many either

but what stuff, if im in precalc should i be okay? is there a formula sheet?

"C) Could anyone post the first few numbers of the Math IIC scale as designated by the Real SAT II book?"

43-50 800
42 790
41 780
40 770
39 760
...and so on, it goes down by 10 for each raw point until you hit 630.

If you are good at Math the Math II test is the easiest thing on earth. I took it twice, once as a junior in pre-calc, got a 780 and once when in calc BC and got an 800. You don't even need your calculator for most of the problems, I rarely used mine, and when I did it was to check an answer, not solve it. Don't worry about it, you should be fine if you are halfway-decent in math.

I consider myself excellent at math (a little pompous but nonetheless:P), but when I took a look at IIC, I was absolutely stunned.

I guess its more about how far you have gone through math in school (AP math, precalculus, etc.) that really matters, because I have never seen some of these questions before in my life.

crap, what did you guys get in SAT I? if im in precalc i covered everything right? just need to prep some conic sections? help...
