Math Major to Pre-med

I’m an incoming freshman. I was accepted as a Bio major but I plan to change it to Math once I go sign up for my classes. I’ve done a fair amount of research and it is possible to go from majoring in Math to a good Medical Grad School. Here are my options:

Stick with Bio. Then to med school (typical route for many)

Math major + additional classes required for certain med schools (if you have experience with this or plan to do this please reply)

Double Major: Bio and Math and then to med school

Some info about my high school experience:

I got a 4 in Bio AP. I got a 5 in Calc AB and confident in another 5 in BC.

From the UCI Placement Test site:
"4 or 5 on the College Board AP Mathematics Examination (BC). You may enroll directly into Mathematics 2D or 2J. "

Our Calc teacher plans to finish teaching the class multivariable Calc by the end of the year so I’m planning on going to 2J (Infinite Series; Basic Matrix Theory) .

Also my Bio AP score will not count towards a science class if I major in Bio but will if I major in Math.

In such a pickle, recommendations anyone?

It doesn't matter if your Bio AP counts as a science class, you will have to take other sciences anyways.

Take math 2D, you need it for other math courses later on.

Practically NONE of math and bio major overlap, so good luck with that.

I am premed, and I didn't go the bio route, I took Biomedical Engineering: Premed.
