anyone know what types of topics are on it? is there calculus in it? what's the highest math you can be placed in?

There's no calculus; it's similar in difficulty to SAT math, with more emphasis on symbolic evaluation instead of word problems. The highest math you can be placed into is MATH 124, though you can try to get into MATH 134, the accelerated honors calculus, which I did, or something even higher, if you're exceptionally smart.

is it something you can study for? or at least review for? i was in 2nd year calculus (i slacked off these last two years of math so i wanted to retake calculus, which is why i'm taking the placement test.), and one of the people in my calculus class took the placement test and got placed into pre cal even though he was taking 2nd year calculus at the time. he said he had forgotten everything on the test since it had been so long since he had done it. are there topics i can review so i'm not caught off guard with stuff i learned years ago which probably have forgotten?

If you're worried, there's a website with sample problems and content covered for each test (http://www.washington.edu/oea/services/testing_center/aptp/practice.html.

sweet thanks alot!
