Hi everyone! I am an incoming freshman and have a quick question about math. The Miami Plan says it requires 3 math credits (I think) and if I get a 3 or higher on the AP Stats test I can test out of STA261. Since that is listed as one of the classes in the Miami Plan, does this mean that I won't have to take any math in college if I pass my AP test? (I'm majoring in Professional Writing and French so I won't need math for those.) Math is definitely not my strong point so it would be a relief to test out of it before college.
Thanks so much!

STA261 (a 4 credit class) will fulfill the Math requirement according to the 11-12 Miami Bulletin. Just brought my son home from his freshman year at Miami. He loved it and I hope you do too!
