Apparently Matt Damon went to Tufts’ athletic facility to work out when he was on campus. He also posed with some members of the Field Hockey team (who were runners up in the NCAA national championship game last fall). Not sure what he was doing on the Tufts campus (he is a Harvard alum) but apparently he grew up in Central Square in Cambridge.
By the way, contrary to the article, Central Square is about 3 miles from Tufts on the same side of the river (at least geographically speaking)…
Yes he was here! His brother apparently lives in Medford and usually townies can get passes to work out at our gym so he stopped by. And yes Central square is between Harvard and MIT! Nice place.
Matt’s brother Kyle is a townie, but not a Medford one- he still lives in Cambridge. Kyle is a Tufts alum ('89 or '90 maybe?) so I assume he has some kind of alumni to the gym.
I think Matt’s nephew is trying to transfer in to Tufts so maybe he was lending some subtle star power to the effort.

Based on a Google search, Kyle appears to be a sculptor. He is an alum of the Tufts/Museum of Fine Arts joint degree program.
