maributt! I got the same thing! Score, I thought I might have missed that.

What was the length of the shortest diagonal for that parallelogram question?

Was it 53.12?

omigoodness. I shouldn't have canceled my bio, konriu! screams I could have managed an okay score... I would have had like a 750!!

Would skipping 6, missing 2-3 yield a 770?

@aquamarinee: I know...I was so shocked. +4/5 it was. In other words, if I'd just left one of those wrongs blank... Oh well. Are you gonna take it again?

@kyzan: 53.12 is what I got

if i dont do as well on sat iis as i want, does taking them over look bad?

I'm thinking of canceling my scores now. Would it be worth canceling if I got around 3-5 wrong and 8 omitted?

I am so annoyed now. WOW. -4 = 800? I could have gotten... AAH. Why did I cancel??? :( Now I have to go take it for my "second" time in... October. I'm taking the SAT in June... I better not fail this one. I don't want to take both math and bio in october.

Ok, I have the collegeboard math study book, with two full length Math 2 Sat IIs. The scaled conversions for both vary by a couple of points.

The first one:
44-50: 800
43: 790
42: 780
41: 770
40: 760
39: 750
38: 740
37: 730
36: 710
35: 700

The second one:
43-50: 800
42: 790
41: 780
40: 770
39: 760
38: 750
37: 740
36: 730
35: 720
34: 710
33: 700

Hope that helps!

coolchica, that looks like a 710 if you got 5 wrong and omitted 8.

I'm referring to this curve:

50 800
49 800
48 800
47 800
46 800
45 800
44 790
43 780
42 770
41 760
40 750
39 740
38 730
37 720
36 710
35 700

What raw score do you think would yield an 800 on the test we took today?

Probably 45 is an 800. That sounds pretty normal I think.

What about that problem with the box-line graph thingies... that's the only one I left blank. I think I got the rest right, but I may have made a dumb mistake somewhere along the line.

And what about that one where it was like x^2+2x^2+4=(x+2)^2+a(x+2)+b... I got -2, but it took me a while and I ran out of time before I could recheck. How about you?

argh i skipped 3.
That leaves room for only two wrong. That's cutting it real close for an 800.
crap.

same i put -2 by just looking at the x's on both sides of the equations..hope thats right

I took two practice tests off sparknotes and got 700 twice, and I thought the tests this time were much much easier. I wouldn't be surprised if -4 = 790 =/

I did poorly though, if I get above 720 I'll be content.

-2 sounds right for that problem. The answer to the box and whiskers plot was I and III, which I think was E.

What was the xyz box one? The answers were in terms of the coordinates.

-4 = 790 is too low of a curve for this test.

i'm pretty sure it's usually 42+ raw = 800. Maybe on a harsh curve its 43/44, but -4, which is 45 is pushing it a bit.
