May 2012 Writing Discussion

How in the world could Douglass have killed washington… Like… Different century lol. I hope you get a high score, would be awesome.

@hkim
I put “would pursue” not sure tho. Also, anyone remember the answer to “that the city would…” did the answer have “are” in it?

i got NE for that one.

Wasn’t it only right after sentence 8 that they were talking about how that it could help gain more knowledge of how to handle/get to read books the way they were read in 1800 hundreds?

yeah it should have been after sent. 8

So was the amy question NE or would pursue instead of will pursue?

@blankk i skipped it and was gonna come back to it but i think i forgot to bubble it in D:

idk… for amy tan question, i just left it as it was…

@Eric Snow: I distinctly remember the plugged in sentence had the words “electronic or print copies” at the end. There were no electronic copies of books in the 1800s lol

What was the one about the ants with the problems like ____ (something about finding the best way to food)?

i think i said 14 for the one about the books or whatever, none of the other ones really made any sense :/

Can anyone confirm answer to amy tan question? No error or “would pursue”. (originally it was will pursue)

Bear,
I said that it she “would pursue”, I’m pretty sure. I’m certain it wasn’t a no error.

I put would pursue–idk if I’m right because I’m the one who initially asked this lol

For #35, was it sentence 8 or 11? Am I the only one who chose sentence 4 lol…I ran out of time so I just chose a random one. I should’ve left it blank :p

Pretty sure it was 8

idr the choices…
but i think i put something like such as finding food

I also put “would pursue”

Whew, I’m guessing the general consensus is “would pursue.”

Then for #31 (I think it was), the question that underlined the word “nonetheless,” what was the answer? I chose in particular, but people have been arguing over that question…

Does anyone remember the exact or close to exact question phrase about the economy to do so?
