***May 2015 - Literature***

A raw score of 45 would be a 690, generally

How’d everyone do?? I got a 790

770! Which is pretty exciting, considering that there was one poem that I just completely did not understand.

Anyone know what a good, competitive score for the Lit subject test would be? I got mid-700s range and I hope it is good enough to be considered by some top schools!

Usually 700+ is excellent. For the top schools, it may bring you down slightly if it isn’t ~750 or above, as there are just so many students applying to those schools that have near-perfect scores. @jchanover7

@peytonmg 750+ for every subject test besides Lit, where 700 becomes the 750.

@twnnca Is Lit really that hard, or is it just because it’s arguably more subjective than the others? I had no idea there was that much of a difference.

@peytonmg check out the percentile curves. Lit is that much harder!

@peytonmg http://media.collegeboard.com/digitalServices/pdf/research/SAT-Subject-Tests-Percentile-Ranks-2012.pdf Lit is lower than everything substantially except Math I (which self-selects the less able students simply because there are 2 maths, so is an anomaly and should be ignored)
