Hello! So right now Clark is probably my number one choice I will be applying to in the fall.
I just have a few questions.

I'm from Minnesota so going home for the weekend is not an option for me at all. If I choose to go out of state I would really want a school that isn't a suit case college (going home on the weekends). While I realize some students will go home every now and then, is it a regular occurrence ?

Does everyone generally stay at school all the time?

My next question is about scholarships. How do they determine scholarships if they do not require ACT scores?

Last question, I would like to major in Political Science and their International Relations and Affairs. I hear it's their most majored in, but that doesn't always mean best. Is it well known social science education?

Thanks so much! If you read or answer that's amazing and thank you.

I actually know several students from Minnesota, so you definitely won’t be alone! To answer your first question, Clark is definitely not a suitcase school. Occasionally some students might leave for the weekend, but a large majority stay on campus over the weekends; many even stay on campus over breaks, including summer, like me!
Scholarships are usually not determined by just one factor, most scholarships look for very well rounded students, like the new full ride, LEEP scholarship, which takes into account GPA, course load, and extracurriculars/leadership, among other factors, but you can always send in your ACT/SAT scores if you feel they would be beneficial!
Political Science is not the most popular major, that would be Psychology, but it is a good program, from what I have heard about it. I have several friends in the Poli Sci department, and they all have had good experiences, but I can’t really give you more information than that, because I have not personally taken a Poli Sci class.
Good luck with applying, and with your senior year!

Thank you so much for your help! I was very concerned with the idea of everyone going home. I really appreciate you taking your time to read and respond! Thank you!
