McComb's School of Business Honors (UT Austin) External Transfer - Chance me

Currently a University of Texas at Tyler freshman looking to transfer into McCombs school of business at UT Austin next fall. I will have Calculus 1 and 2 finished, along with Micro/Macroeconomics.
UT Tyler GPA: 4.0
Hours (by end of 2017 Spring semester): 45
Ethnicity: White
Gender: Male
Resume: President of the Financial Management Association, Co-founder and VP of Prospective Austin Transfers.
EC: 12 hours a semester of volunteering at a food bank.
Essays: Let’s assume the essays are about a 9/10. Most definitely competitive essays and I am a good writer, however they could have been a bit more interesting.
Weaknesses: Resume isn’t as strong as I would like since there are so few organizations on campus, and I have no business internships currently.
Strengths: I have four letters of recommendation from ALL of my professors last semester, excluding the online one. Two of them are excellent and in detail. I care a lot about Finance and have the highest GPA possible, represented well in my essays. I have 15 hours of Dual Credit under my belt from high school. I also rejected the CAP program to set myself apart from everyone else attempting to transfer, and show the committee I only want to do business, and won’t settle for anything else.

4.0 + Pre Reqs and Transferable Credits = Acceptance likely

That’s pretty much what I have been hearing, but I guess I want to know if they would deny a 4.0. I haven’t met anyone who had been denied with one yet, but i’m just worried I will.

Your good, 4.0 is like a 99.999999% chance you will get in if you have all the preqs and transferable course that are applicable to your major. Send me you class list and I can tell you for sure if your gunna get in or not (pretty much).

Plus, Ik you go to UTT and I wonder if you know the finance club there? Me and a Friend started the club (i think it’s called the investment club) lolol, I just wanna see how it’s doing.

@utcswannabe

Well as far as I know, there isn’t an investment club here haha. I actually considered doing the same thing, but I knew it would die within a short time period so I didn’t bother.

@utcswannabe

I have all of my core classes completed exactly, but I’m not exactly sure if my Introduction to business class will transfer. I know I need to take the class to be able to declare my specific major at UT, but I suppose we will see.

@UTMccombs2017 “It transfers as BA 3 hrs” - Whatever that means;
Classes look good, get recs and decent resume + EC’s and your a sure fire acceptance

With Honors, I have no idea really
