When do you all go to orientation? A lot of these classes are taken, but I’m sure they’ll reserve spots for internal transfers.

We are internal transfers :)

Lol never thought that one through. Did they change your major codes yet?

Congrats you guys! I hope I can say the same when my chance comes around next spring. I’m so excited for my first year!

I ws just wondering though. . . .

What were your stats? Like GPA? Number of hours?

And last but not least, do you have any advice for c/o 2014 (myself included)?

caligirl, I had a 3.66 UT gpa and 59 hours. Based on someone else’s numbers, it appears that they have significantly lowered the minimum to around 3.4 or 3.5. I suggest keeping your gpa highly above those numbers! Invest $5 or $20 at myedu.com and get the best professors possible. Good luck :)

Denumx, yes they changed our major codes to undecided business.

I had 3.87 GPA at UT. And what TMT90 said. My advice would be to not get carried away when you are at UT. Remember your goal should be to get a 4.0. Also ask for help if you are having trouble in a class. A lot of times TAs will have review sessions and stuff so try to go.

Awesome. Thank you guys so much for the advice, and agian CONGRATS !

Topawala20, what do you mean by “My advice would be to no get carried away when you are at UT”?

Sorry for the confusion, but I meant that some people will act like they will get in no matter what and are over confident. And then they end up screwing themselves over.
