@Noogie They know the difference and it is irrelevant. McGill is rigidly non-holistic in admissions.
@TomSrOfBoston Does that mean there’s no possible way to get in at this point? Like, it would be useless to try and appeal?

My friend who applied in January and whose stats are a little like mine got accepted in Early March.
I applied late December and im still on Ready for Review.
We’re both internationals.

I posted a while back about having been on ready for review for months, and further review required for weeks. Today I finally got a conditional offer depending on my IB exams. I applied in November, I think all of you should be hearing soon, and good luck!

My son has been at Reviewed-Decision Pending for almost 2 months for the Faculty of Sciences. Is there a difference between that status and a waiting list? He is a US High School student and was accepted in the Science program at the MacDonald Campus but still waiting to hear from the main campus where he would like to be…
@pgagne00 I think the main difference between waitlisted and RDP is that waitlisted means your grades are good enough to be admitted but they don’t have the capacity to admit you. RDP is when you are just around the cutoff grades and they want to wait to admit or reject you, depending on how many students are better than you.

Could the people who are still on Ready for Review post their stats please?
US student here and not sure why still at RDP since January for Faculty of Science. My GPA is 4.10, ACT 32. SAT Math2 750, SAT chem 720. They are probably looking for the 3 As in science. I had a B+ in biology, A in chem, and a B+ in AP Chem. I sent in my January transcript when AP Bio was an A and physics was an A-. I got straight As in all high school math, including AP Calc BC. I won’t get transcript update again until June, but I’m on track to have an A in AP Bio and A- or more in physics. I can see getting a conditional acceptance, but why RDP?
ORRZ40 same situation here. US student. Applied for both the BA&S and BS Faculties.
ACT 34, 4.3 GPA weighted. 3.8 unweighted, A in AP Bio, but a B+ in a combined honors Chem /Physics class. Been RDP since January. Buddies with far less credentials who applied for the Faculty of Arts were accepted months ago. Looking at the threads it seem almost nobody has been admitted in Science or the Arts and Science Faculty as of yet.

I have been on review decision pending since early January. Really annoyed at this point, I got into a bunch of schools in the U.S. including Cornell but I don’t know why McGill is taking so long…

I was accepted by all other schools I’ve applied to, but McGill is my top choice. ;v; I’m so nervous rn

So one of my two friends applying this year has just been admitted to the Science faculty and Desautels. The other one is still waiting. Seems like the results are released so randomly now

@sd4586 I called them yesterday. I’m on Ready for Review but the woman said that ALL decisions will be out by the end of this month.
