McGill- Poor senior tri 1 grades

<p>First time posting here in a while so apologies if I'm in the wrong spot. I have a question about how much my poor grades first trimester of senior year will hurt my chances. My GPA was about a 3.5 with all AP/IB classes, but I think I will finish this trimester with 4 A's and 3 C's. How much will that destroy my admissions chances, specifically to McGill? I know I'll be able to bring up my grades during the rest of the year, I just don't want them to see just this trimester and reject me outright.</p>

<p>You will take a hit, unfortuately. I got in with about a 3.5 and like all APs, but that was off the waitlist (even if i was only there for less than a week). You’ve got to kill it in your second trimester. what do your SAT/ACTs look like?</p>
