Chances - B in first semester senior year?

I just received my first semester final grades, and am crushed to learn that I have a B (B+ actually, an 89. but my school does not show plus or minus on our transcripts) in AP Calc BC. I had a 4.0 uw GPA up until now (4.6w) and this is my first B ever. My ACT composite that I submitted to McGill is a 33 (with a 28Math). Do you think this B in Calc BC will affect my chances of admission? I have applied to 3 faculties, Science, Arts & Science and Arts.

Thanks so much.

No, it will have zero impact. I’m 100% positive about this. Relax already.

On the plus side, it is good you get used to a B. You will likely get a lot of them at McGill.

i got a B- in ap bio this first trimester. but i applied to sciences (physics and chem) and my grades in physics, chem, and math have all been A’s. i hope they look at that and still take me.

McGill admissions standards are pretty lax, I wouldn’t worry about it.

I got a 33 composite on the ACT (30 math 34 english 31 reading 36 science) AND I got an 81 in AP Physics: Mechanics this first semester. All my other grades have been in the A range and I still got accapted to science.

Also, I was stressing about my AP Physics grade, but After further consideration of the website, I realized that you are only really judged on the grades you receive in prerequisites to the program you intend to enroll in. AP Calc BC is by no means a prerequisite for college, nor is a B+ horrible.

NO WORRIES
:)

i applied for science, and my CR score on the SAT was a 640 (10 pts below the min) but my other scores were way above the min and my SAT II scores were really high. are they just going to reject me?
