based on my extremely limited experience with McGill admissions from friends who applied there, your GPA is pretty bad but your SAT's are rock solid. it's hard to say what your chances are without any knowledge of your EC's or personality, but I'd say you're not out of the running stats-wise, but you are borderline when it comes to the GPA.

they do not take into account ec's essays and that kind of crap

If you are from Canada Ignore This:

Ok, assuming you aren't from Canada, you will be applying as an Int'l student. That makes the admissions process more difficult for you because they limit how many "foreign" students they admit. Since there is such a low number of admissions, they are only going to take the top applicants. I'm not saying you don't have a shot, but you do have some stiff competition.

thank you for you help. Anyone else? How would you asses my chances precentage wise if possible or compare it to an american univeristy

I dont really know how hard will be for a intel student for Mcgill, but since I live in Montreal( where Mcgill is located), I am sure about that you stats are much better than local students, so I think you should be ok, in my limited knowledge

What program do you want to get into? (If you want to do Arts&Sci.,for example, your GPA may be a little low.)

Some advice: Make sure you do well in your senior year classes.

also, medicine & law are the hardest ones
PS: you can go to medicine and law schools as undergraduate at Mcgill~

int'l students cant. do that. Since you can apply to two faculties im going to apply to sci and artis and sci....so for sci how do i look

you cant apply medicine or law for undergraduate in Mcgill?

You can only apply for medicine or law for undegraduate study if you come out of a CEGEP program.
