McIntire or Stern??

First of all, I understand that McIntire only accepts juniors and seniors. That said, I'm applying to UVA so that I can get into McIntire eventually. If I go to UVA/McIntire, my in-state tuition has already been paid through VA's college savings plan. I'm also interested in NYU Stern. Both have competitive business programs. But I absolutely love New York City and NYU/Stern, and I would definitely be happier if I went to a city school. At the same time, I know I'll be in financial debt if I choose Stern; although my family isn't qualified for financial aide, it'll still be a struggle for us to pay at least $200,000 for Stern. Which one would you choose? The school you love or the school that'll leave you debt free?

For me, UVA is a no brainer. Cheaper, just as good, and closer to home. But then again, UVA is my top choice so…

I think the question you have is the question everybody has

What’s your career goal and how much debt will you need to take on?

UVA no brainer. They are too similar in prestige that money should be the deciding factor.
