Me vs. Valedictorian a.k.a Best Friend

My best friend is val and i'm not. he keeps rubbing it in my face but its all good, we've been competitive since middle school. Like in tennis, i'm #3 in singles and he's #4. We basically compete for everything, who gets higher test scores etc. lol

Anyway, our current competition is who looks better (STATS WISE) to adcoms. And what better place to simulate it than CC lol.

So pretend your an admissions officer and pick who you would accept. Choose A or B.

Student A (Valedictorian)

10th-12th GPA - 4.666666666667
9th-12th GPA - 4.65
PSAT = 210 (National Merit Semifinalist)
SAT = 2300 (750CR, 800 Math, 750 Writing)
ACT = 34
10 AP's = 8 fives, 2 fours

Student B (Moi)

10th-12th GPA - 4.6666666666667
9th-12th GPA - 4.525
PSAT = 225 (National Merit Finalist)
SAT = 2350 (800CR, 750 Math, 800 Writing)
ACT = 36
12 AP's = 12 Fives

He beat me GPA wise because i received a 4.166667 FRESHMAN YEAR. Quick question though, will Colleges and Universities weigh Freshman Year heavily? Or do they just look at Us as a tie because we practically have the same GPA, withholding Freshman Year.

Thanks for participating in our bet! winner gets starbucks lol.

I’d go for Student B. Presumably more challenging curriculum (I’m inferring from the two more APs) + slightly better scores >> slightly higher GPA.

Do you have a social life? Sports? Damn, your grades and tests are near perfect. Student B is better though. I’d be ****ed if I were you! haha

We both play tennis (I know kinda nerdy, but we’re both good). We both volunteer within our community (food kitchen,hospital,tutoring). And unfortunately we both don’t have girlfriends (no time) :frowning: but its ok lol. ;)

this thread is completely pointless.

lol, i should move this somewhere.

I’d go for neither. It’s sad that you’re posting this against a ‘best friend’.

Freddy vs. Jason.

both of you have amazing stats…
I think Student B is better…by just a little
only because of the perfect ACT score—

I would say student A because you are way too cocky and need a life.

i agree with james jr.

12 5’s eh?

ask around and gather some sense of where you are

Enough self-congratulation threads posing as chances/comparisons!

“And unfortunately we both don’t have girlfriends”

Shocking.

What’s your rank? Keep in mind that colleges value vals and sals a lot and all produly list the number that enroll. Yet with 2 strong candidates from the same school there’s no way of saying as the recs and essays are what it will largely come down to. Be very nice to your teachers and counselor:)

get a life i would say :P

you guys are prolly 2 pale pale people who blood shot eyes who are sheletered at home.
nothing wrong with that though.
