<p>Hi everyone, </p>

<p>I would like to ask opinions about which Chicago college is better for Mechanical Engineering. The choice is between IIT, UIC and NWU. </p>

<p>As far as I know, Northwestern and UIC are about the same quality-wise with Northwestern being much more expensive, and I know nothing about IIT. I've actually been trying to convince my friend to apply to UIUC instead but he wants to apply to a Chicago school for personal reasons..</p>

<p>Well obviously UIUC is the strongest in your post but not in Chicago. Northwestern is really good as well. I would personally then say IIT is next, followed by UIC. UIC has no reputation outside of the region to speak of. The rest do.</p>
