Medicore SAT I's dilemma

I am/was planning to apply to Princeton SCEA, but I was also planning on retaking the SAT I's before hand. Now, however, the October date is coming up and it's only barely going to make the deadline, PLUS I don't know for sure I will even improve my scores significantly. I guess my question is should I wait and prepare more thoroughly for a future testing date, but then sacrifice any slight advantage from applying EA, or just go for it with whatever I get in October?

My current SAT score is a 2090 (640 math, 700 writing, 750 reading), but I have high(er) subject test scores (760 USH, 770 Lit, 780 Chem) and all 5s on my AP exams...So while my SAT I's are pretty weak (math especially, ugh) I feel like I do show that I can test fairly well in other situations..

Your marks from the SAT’s in Oct will make it in time for consideration in the application process, if that if helpful. My son applied SCEA last year after writing SAT II’s in Oct and the marks made it to Princeton before decisions were made for Dec 15. We actually called admissions because we were so concerned about the marks getting there, but admissions’ response was so relaxed - they knew the marks would get there and they were correct.

The down side is that you cannot superscore in this situation, but that isn’t a problem if you are fairly confident you can improve your results. Good luck!
