Merit Aid?!

I know that people who have been admitted are now thinking about the financial aspect of this. Like many others on this forum, I was not admitted to the Honors Program. I’m wondering what our chances are fro merit money? Does anyone have any idea of what’s happened in the past for merit money outside of the Honors program? I see that there are two other scholarships, the Deans Scholarships and the Leader scholarship, does anyone know the qualifications used for these?

Also, to people who got emails, did u recieve official letters with financial offers the next day?

Thanks.

aye, i too am interested in knowing when i'll get my financial aid package.

I'm wondering the same thing as well.

keep watching your student portals...it should be coming in there soon!

It's on my portal now! I had heard that the Dean's scholarship was 18K? But it must come in different amounts, because mine says 9000 . . . ?

It probably just showed you one semester.
It's 9000 for Fall, then another 9000 for the Spring semester - adding up to the 18K that the Dean's Scholarship is worth!

Oh! Wow, well thank you!

No, problem. Don't worry - I totally felt the same way at first, lol! I got my packet today and realized that they divide everything into the Fall and Spring semesters. :)

Where can we find our AU ID number for creating the portal?

mcz -

If you don't have your packet, I found mine by logging into my prospective student portal (if you created an account to apply online) and I believe it was in the right-hand corner. It said AU ID:

Thanks. I just got my acceptance in the mail today, and I had just been wondering, since the email they sent last week didn't say.
