Hi! Does anyone know if it is possible to get a merit scholarship at Pitt with a 32 composite ACT? I can superscore to a 33 and I have a fairly extensive resume, such as working in a lab at NASA for four years, publishing 11+ articles on computer science, FIRST Robotics Competition programming captain, and speaking at a state conference on open source technology, to name a few of my favorites. I would also be a third generation Pitt student if I went there (grandparents and parents are Pitt grads). I’ve been accepted at Pitt in the College of Arts and Sciences and intend to major in computer science. Thanks!
We are all learning as we go and this year merit scholarships from Pitt seem to be a bit lower and not as predictable as in the past. I would say read the Pitt merit thread below and see how your stats compare so far! And good luck–sounds like you’ve done some great things!
Have your parents and grandparents find out if there are alumni scholarships.
