Is there a "cut off" SAT score for the merit scholarship awards? Could anyone who received a merit scholarship provide some information on his/her respective SAT scores, anticipated majors and other qualifications?

I think the Merit is based on the entire application, not just the SAT or ACT score. It is supposed to be the top 25% of applicants , with varying offers fro scholarships…but they are also utilizing the CSS profile which could also be good if your EFC is a good number. They are now meeting need based aid

The CSS profile is just for need based aid, correct? I don’t think we would qualify. Should we fill it out anyway if it may affect merit aid? My son was accepted ED has very good scores, ECs, recommendations and grades. We were hoping that there would be some merit award.

You never know …my daughter ( NEU grad 2013 ) got need based and merit based aid. The rule of thumb is to file and the worst case scenario is, you get nothing . Not sure if it might be too late though…EA decline was 12/1…FAFSA is coming up though
