Merit Scholarships for Non NMSF?

<p>Hey guys,</p>

<p>Just wondering if anyone in state has gotten word that they have received a merit scholarship and are not a NMSF. I have fairly high stats so I was hoping for this, but I'm not a NMSF so I havent received anything yet.</p>

<p>If anyone from previous years could provide some past experiences that could answer this question as to when they are given out that would be appreciated.</p>

<p>D, who was only NM commended,got a merit scholarship from the CLA. I think the really big $$ goes to the NM semi-finalists, at least it seems so from the people who post here. We are OOS</p>
