<p>I was wondering what public universities are offering good aid to OOS students with at least a 3.7 GPA in community college. Also, being from CA I know of some cases where universities will offer an applicant excellent merit aid to increase regional representation at their school and also to attract high achieving students from different parts of the country. I heard that some midwest and southern schools have done this. Similarly, what Private universities offer half to full scholarship for a student who has a 3.7 gpa and completed 90 quarter credits.</p>

<p>There are a fair number of schools that do this for fr applicants, but it’s rare for transfers. In general, merit scholarships for transfers are fewer and for less money. See the merit aid thread in this sticky:</p>
