If anyone is interested, I found out what section our kids will be in at the Met game on Aug. 8. According to Parents Assoc. they checked and they will be in mezzanine section 11M-13. I asked if we could have contact with them. She said we can sit near their section but not with them. Also contact is LIMITED. Why does that not shock me??

Awesome job, supermansmom, and thanks for sharing. Never thought to go that route (parents association). I've been trying to go through the school and spinning wheels. We'll see you there!

You lucky parents who will be able to actually go to the game....please share hugs and smiles with ALL the PCs....especially my 2nd co. SC PC.....I'm sooooooooooooo envious!!

Okay Supermansmom since you are lucky enough to be able to go to the Mets game, you get the duty for reporting back to all of us who cant go and whose son explains everything in one word sentences.....is there such a thing. You are very fortunate to be close enough to attend.

My parents went to the game and some of my High School friends went. We visited for about 5-10 mins underneath the stands. I was pretty freaked out anytime I saw a senior, they won't yell at you in front of your parents though....it will just happen afterwards, so yea say Hi, it's worth it for the plebe.

for the record, i did not get yelled at afterwards.

Re seating at the Mets Game. At the moment the only tickets on the same level and/or below available are Mezz Section 30. Apparently the Mets/Atlanta game will be a good one because both teams are fighting for first place. Unless you parents though ahead and bought your tickets early bring binocs to look across the field.

We went yesterday to get Met tickets at Shea after visiting with our son at mass. We didn't have much choice for seating at Shea. Everything was pretty much taken. We told them what section we wanted to be near and they gave us Upper Section 13. They said that was the closest they had to USMMA. So we took them. Everyone said it is a nice day. For you guys (KPfootball Mom) who are too far away, I do sympathize with you. I'm finding it a little hard and he is just an hour away. Yesteday helped alot because after mass I was able to speak with him for a little bit. I really enjoyed it. But for you guys so far away, the visits will be even more sweeter when you get to meet again. All I can say is my son seems very happy and mature. He actually seems to be enjoying the challenges.

Glad that you were able to get tickets to the Mets game. If you are able to speak to any of the boys give them all our love. I am so proud of every single young man and women who have completed Indoc and are adjusting to the day to day at Kings Point. I know that there will be ups and downs and we rely on all of you wonderful parents that are able to see our Plebe Canidates to surrogate when we can't be there. Can't wait to meet everyone at Parents Weekend.
